Sweatshirt Graphic

I designed this graphic for a church-sponsored young women's camp in Utah. The graphic was printed on sweatshirts and water bottles for approximately 300 teenagers and their camp leaders.

DVD Menu

This was probably one of my favorite (and most time consuming) projects - designing a DVD menu. I chose to do the recent film "Marie Antoinette" because I was attracted to the candy-like colors used throughout the film and the decadence portrayed. (Summer 2007).

Postage Stamps

Postage design is extremely challenging, I've decided. It was tricky to come up with a design that would still look good at such a small size. (Fall 2006).

Cover Redesign

I absolutely loved this project for an Intro. to Graphic Design class (Fall 2006). We were asked to read a book that had an ugly cover, then redesign the cover. I chose a short story by Willa Cather called "The Old Beauty."

Poster

This was a poster I designed inspired by a speech about learning to not take offense. (Winter 2007).

Type Animals

No doubt inspired by the children's book, "Bembo's Zoo" by graphic designer Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich, my typography teacher asked us to design some type animals. Using only the letters from the name of the animal, I came up with an ostrich and alligator. (Winter 2007).

Logo Redesign

This was interesting...I took an existing company's name and redesigned it as if it represented a completely different type of company. I chose Sinclair, the gas station with the dinosaur. Every time I see it I just wish they would redesign it, it looks so cheesy. I made it into a winery logo, a bar and grill, and a perfume.
